MEMORIAL DAY

To the Men & Women in Uniform

and their Families

THANK YOU

MEMORIAL DAY: as the majority of Americans celebrate this Memorial Day weekend with picnics, parties and the regular fan fare of celebrations, I wanted to share a little bit about who we are. Most of you know that I am fiercely patriotic and immensely proud to serve our country as a United States Navy EOD wife. Originally, I was just going to share Tyler's Memorial video from last week, as a reminder of what this weekend is really all about. However, while cruising through You Tube, I stumbled upon the other two EOD videos. Even as an EOD wife, I was enlightened by them and my heart filled with AWE, as I watched these men and women perform their "Job" with enthusiasm and a smile on their face. To ALL the Men & Women who serve our country and the friends & families that SUPPORT THEM - THANK YOU and GOD BLESS AMERICA.

With Pride and love to those who are serving, served and those who have paid the ultimate scarifice as well as the families that love them ALL. This is a great reminder that Memorial day isn't about a day off from work for these folks.

Thanks Justine for sharing!!!

Wow, I guess ignorance is truly bliss. When you told me a what your husband did for work, I assumed, he would like go into a little box and defuse bombs. Even the parachute story, when he landed wrong, I assumed this was just a freak thing.
Watching the video has enlightened me and scared me too. I never took for granted our Men and Women who have served or who are serving now. However, I now have a deeper respect for them.
THANK YOU! Thank all of you.
And to think my children have school Monday. The school doesn't recognize Memorial Day as a Holiday here... we are testing.
God Bless You and Your Family Justine!
