Creating a 4x4 card posed quit the challenge for me since I am so accustomed to working with a larger palette. Of course trying to get my square or rectangle images into circles is always a small feat as well. Nonetheless, that is what makes challenges so much fun right?? This week, I again reached for the "Rooster Standing" (SG 609) image. I heat embossed him in black on a piece of pink, textured CS. I then colored him in with Copic Markers. I was so impressed with how well the colors blended and showed up. I layered him onto a piece of frayed "mulberry" paper (I think that is what the feathery type paper is called) then added Prima and Martha Stewart flowers instead of a standard circle. (Prima Flowers 15% off at ABC Toys and Crafts hurry sale ends May 31st)
