What was I thinking?

Ouch 5 days without a post.  Guess I gave myself a little blog break.  Can't even figure out what I have been doing with my time.  Wait Wait, I remember!  I have been creating -  just nothing new.  I have had Custom Christmas cards and Baby Congratulation orders to complete  ;o)  As a matter of fact, I created 20 cards today.  The mass production has been quit therapeutic.  I know what your thinking and NO, I Do not need therapy!!! Just to make sure, I took myself to Retail Therapy yesterday.

Perhaps this card proves that I AM crazy?  I mean seriously, what was I thinking??  I didn't even use scrap ribbon.......  It was supposed to be a Christmas tree with a star on top.  When I asked my son if he could tell what it was, he replied "A shooting star?"..........  

Check out that star.. Poor ugly thing.....  I punched a star out, pressed it into Versa Mark, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder then heated it with the heat tool...  I thought that it would turn out smooth and metallic.  Smooth it is not but the texture is somewhat interesting.  It is raised and sparkly.   O well there must be some trial and error in the attempt to create perfection.

I am hoping to find the time to whip out quit a few things this week so stay tuned to see what I come up with.  As always, thank you for taking the time to check in on me.
