Teddy the Bear

I haven't been able to stamp and create for what feels like FOREVER!!!! I can feel my MOJO dwindling too... I think I am panicking because I have to go back to work in TEN days!!!!!! Paychecks, someone remind me that I like PAY DAY and I NEED a pay day so that I can SHOP.  SHOPPING is my Favorite. OK thanks for the pep talk.

My friend Kyla came over last night, supposed to have been for dinner, however, apparently I made a horrible mistake in an email.  Yesterday morning she emailed to confirm and mentioned that she had purchased some little desserts and wanted to know if there was anything else she could bring.  I responded with "Forget dinner, we'll just have dessert and wine"!  OMG, she took it literally.......... I failed to put an "LOL" after my comment and she ATE before coming over....... I feel just horrible.  Although she didn't eat, Emily and I enjoyed her company very much.

This little guy was created using the stamp set "Pick a Petal" (SU)....... Remember way back when I shared the lady bug card and I told you that I should have ordered this stamp set?  The versatility of this set amazes me. His body and oblong balloon were made using flower petals!  I used circle punches for this face, paws and round balloons then made the "stitch" marks with a black pen.  His ears were punched after I had stamped a flower petal.   The little repaired stitching was in a stamp set by Hero Arts.  The card base is chocolate chip (SU) and stamped with Polka Dot Basics (PTI)......

Have a great Sunday, see ya tomorrow.

I like the colors of this card. It reminds me of my Grams. I know we all had those worn out animals that we just couldn't leave behind.
