There's a New Boy in Town

ABC Toy's & Crafts
"RECIPE CHALLENGE"
1 - Punch
2 - Stamps
3 - Embellishments

I recently challenged the ABCTC Design Team to the above "RECIPE CHALLENGE" and we would LOVE for YOU to JOIN IN ON THE FUN. Click on the STORE LOGO for Complete Details

I've got a Wonderful friend (shhhhh! Don't tell Meagan) that is due to have a Sweet Little Boy in approximately 14 days so I was thrilled to get my hands on the Crafty Secrets "Baby Boy" stamp set. Limiting myself to only two of the stamps was CHALLENGING!!! OK ya got me, I cheated but only on the INSIDE and the back. Here is a peek at the inside of the card:

Not sure whether or not I would be considered cheating in the number of embellishments used. Let's count: 1-chipboard "b", 2-scrap of fabric, 3-button (surely we aren't counting the chipboard frame that I painted to frame my "TWO STAMPS", Right?) Now I behaved myself and used ONLY 1 Punch BUT I could have used it over & over (ya' know, layered them)!! ;o}

CHALLENGES I USED..........
ABC Toys & Crafts: Recipe
Crafty Creations: Distressing
The Pink Elephant: Color Challenge (AQUA) (I used Aqua Mist as my base)
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge: Anything Goes
Flourishes: Vintage (my definition of Vintage is taking anything, distressing it and making it appear to be old. Of course I prefer the real thing)
Prairie Fairy Fridays: Distressing (I inked the edges & roughed up some of the edges & sanded around my chipboard "B")
Hand Full of Stamps: Use up that Stock (idea is to use 2 different patterned papers. Mine is reversible)

..........Supplies I used.........
Stamps: Crafty Secrets (Baby Boy)
Ink: Copic Markers, Stampin Up (close to cocoa), Paper Trey Ink (dark chocolate)
Cardstock: Paper Trey Ink (aqua mist), Stampin Up (confetti, very vanilla)
Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny
Tools: Martha Stewart punch, Spellbinders (Nestabilities Scalloped Squares)
Misc: Stampin Up (scallop square chipboard), Delta (ivory acrylic paint), Prima (chipboard "b"),
Scrap fabric, Paper Trey Ink (aqua mist button)

Hi Justine! This is too cute! No worries about the post. I have been in Houston house hunting. I will be so glad when we sell and get moved. Then maybe I can get back to crafty more often! Have a wonderful week!

This is one of the best baby cards I have seen in a long time! Gorgeous everything -- the design, adorable stamps, details and, of course, that awesome Justine touch!
