Vintage Note of Love

My absolute favorite types of Valentine's cards are Vintage Valentine's. Can you imagine how excited I was to have found the "Vintage Images Craft" website recently. Shortly after sharing this website on my blog, I was pleasantly SURPRISED to see MY BLOG FEATURED in their Newsletter!!! After blinking a few times, scrolling up and down the page, I realized that YES, they had REALLY Featured MY BLOG, MY WORK and here is the exert from their Newsletter:

Inspiring Books 'n Blogs

"Last month, Justine shared a rich, layered Valentine card featuring one of our vintage Cupid images. Of course, we started poking around her blog, CARDiology: Cards From the Heart, to see her other creations. The first thing we noticed is how stylishly eclectic Justine can be. From frilly vintage to sleek and elegant. Best of all, she takes the time to name her sources and describe her techniques. She should be teaching classes! Small wonder that she is so well-connected, too. Be sure to visit her "about me" profile, where she lists her favorite blogs. Give yourself a little "inspiration" time and visit Justine at CARDiology: Cards From the Heart."

WOW, even I like me after reading that!!! Thank you Scott & Martin for your generously kind comments. I have been playing around with several of the wonderful images that were sent to me as a "Thank You" for my blog entry. Today's card features one of these images.

CHALLENGES I used:
Pile It On: To The One I Love
The Pink Elephant: Mushy Gushy Valentine
Creative Card Crew: Valentine
A Spoon Full of Sugar: 1 patterned paper, 1 embossing, 1 button & 1 ribbon (the cameo is a button, the dark paper is embossed, musical note patterned paper & a bronze ribbon)
Crafty Creations: Wings (my angel certainly has beautiful wings)
Crazy 4 Challenges: Valentines
