Anyhow, the first of 3 projects that I created was a fun dust collector for some lucky recipient's kitchen. Perhaps we'll call it a "Recipe Card Holder".
How perfect is this Cooking Fairy image? Look closer at the fridge to see the "Appointment" which reads --- "Cooking Fairy arrives at 5:00"!
That little note was the inspiration for my project and ultimately why I created these fun "Appointment Tags"
The base of my project is a large wood clothespin that I painted white
then hot glued strips of magnet across the back.
Other Challenges I used:
Creative Belli Challenge: Ribbon
Cooking It Up with Katie: Home (create something with a home theme)
...........Supplies I used............

Sentiments on tags & in the metal frame: computer generated

Wow, this is fantastic!! Love the retro colors!!
This is AWESOME!!! I just spent over half an hour catching up on your blog. We need to talk and get caught up. This year has been crazy. I can't even remember the last time we talked, but I haven't had a chance to even go blog surfing since early January. I took a break from almost everything for a few months and am slowly starting to resurface. Anyway, I am so happy to see Dave is home safely. What are you doing on the mainland though? I tried e-mailing you last week and realized that you were one of the many casualties of Dean's handiwork on the computer (somehow deleting the majority of my contact list - I'm not even sure I know how to do that!! LOL). Anyway, e-mail me. I might try to call you tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I still have your number in my phone, but I think that might be where he deleted contacts - my phone is smarter than I am and is somehow synced to my computer. Anyway, I'd really like to catch up. Regardless, e-mail me so I can get your e-mail address again!!
This is absolutely adorable!! I love it!! I want one...lol! xx
