October may "officially" be "Breast Cancer Awareness Month", however, this disease is deadly year round. One year ago this week, a friend of mine found a large lump in her breast. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, underwent surgery and chemotherapy and is now completely Cancer FREE!! She wasn't quit sure how she felt about the anniversary of this devastating event so I created this project for her. I wanted her to know that her story & journey could be shared to educate & encourage others to do their monthly self breast exams or give HOPE to someone that has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
