1st let's CONGRATULATE

I was so excited to get to play around with one of the brand new images that Shirley's 2 Girls is going to be carrying. Just in time to create those much needed GRADUATION cards. Is he not adorable or what? One of the 6th grade students at my school wanted a very special card for her sister that is graduating from high school. High school students do NOT want take a second look at those boring ole' store bought cards. Have you ever seen them? They rip into the envelope and shake the card to see what falls out. Hopefully this card will get a second look!!!
This weeks Twist is is to use Paper Piecing!! I stamped my image twice. Once onto Very Vanilla cardstock, which is the one that I colored the dog and stars using my Copics. Second onto a Patterned paper, which I cut out only the background and created a Wall Paper. I used Copics right onto the pattered paper and created a shadow to give my Grand Dog some more dimension, as well as, colored the hat. After cutting the entire image out, I used thick foam squares to really Pop that Puppy up!

COMPLETE DETAILS on how you can WIN FREE STAMPS
- Create a Card using the Sketch Provided
- Give it a TWIST by using Paper Piecing
- You are NOT required to use Shirley's 2 Girls stamps, but if you have them, we'd love for you to use them!
- Upload your card to your favorite online gallery and/or your blog. If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keywords S2GSC13 AND shirleys2girls.
- Post a direct link to your card using Mr. Linky on KAROLYN's BLOG.
- The Deadline to enter is Sunday, June 7th, 2009 at midnight PDT.
- The winner will be chosen using Random.org, so everyone has a chance to win.

Justine, this is super cute. I love how you did that background and that dog! I have to learn to use Copics. I'm still hesitant to jump in the trend. We'll see this summer. Have a good weekend.
