I have been able to participate in SO MANY different challenges this week. I created this card for the last weeks sketch challenge over at Our Creative Corner. I just noticed that they have issued another challenge for this upcoming week. The challenge this week is to create a project using your edge punches somewhere on your creation.
Isn't it funny how you can start out creating something and the finished product is no way near what you had in mind. That is what I love about creativity, just allowing the sketch or image lead you. This monster image is from My Cute Stamps. At first, I couldn't get past thinking that this set was only for kids cards or more specifically cards for boys. Therefore, this card actually started out it's life with the intent of being a child's birthday card. I think the DP or the embossed paisleys that I distressed with white ink , said "BFF"!! After coloring my little monster, I decided to give him a little texture by adding some "dots". I used the pointy, brush tip of the colorless blender pen to push color by merely touching the tip to the image. Pretty cool??

If you hurry over to ABC you can pick this stamp set up at a discount of 15%.... While you're there check out the Making Memories SLICE MACHINE, which is ALSO ON SALE for $119 and the SLICE accessories are 20% off - This sale ends Tuesday, June 16

Cute, cute cute!! Love the blues and greens and the embossed paper is fabulous!

My life got a little too busy to keep up with the stash challenge. I'm working a lot more thus losing my stamping time. Trying to get it all balanced out, and it's still a trial some days! I'm so glad you got to play before I had to scrap it!
