(The sandcastle, sun, shells and sentiment are stickers. I used 3 different DP. For the water, I tore then distressed with my fingernail. The beach was sponged all over, torn, distressed with my fingernail then the edges inked. The little sign was a sticker that I mounted on Kraft cs, inked the edges and mounted again onto dark chocolate cs. I used little scrap strips for the legs.)
(here you can see that the sun and sandcastle are triple mounted)
(I burned the edges of the paper to create the distressed appearance. For the flag pole, I used a strip of silver cs and also punched a circle for the top. I zig zag sewed the edges with my sewing machine but around the Pledge, I handstitched.)
I know you have all heard me rave and reference my dear cyber friend, Laura Frederickson of SCRAPNEXTRAS. Laura emailed and challenged me to a challenge that she showcases each week titled "Tuesday Stash Challenge". SOOOOO, Laura is "Kind of a Big DEAL" and would certainly fall into the category Cyber Celebrity!!! Obviously I was honored that she would challenge ME!!!!
The idea behind this challenge is to use some of those fantabulous items that we all like to purchase and then HOARD!!! UUUUHH HUH, you know what I'm talking about dontcha? Our challenge is to break your "Sticker Stash" and actually USE THEM...
You are not going to believe how liberating it is to have permission to create something using stickers. It is ok to use other items as long as your main focus is stickers..
Like me Laura got excited about having "Permission and created a second card.
It's your turn now! Dig out your stickers and play along! There is no time limit, no rules and everyone can play...just use stickers of any kind on your creation! Upload your project to SCS with the keyword SCSX07, or link it to this blog post by comment!

Justine, these are both fabulous! I love your beach card with all the dimension and texture. Sure wish I was at the beach about now! Your flag card is awesome! I can't believe you actually burned the edges! Thanks so much for playing with me! I hope you enjoyed this challenge as much as I did!
