How Appropriate

After suffering yet another rejection, the stamp Break & Mend seems appropriate for tonights post. Rejection is a difficult emotion to deal with. After applying and not making either the High Hopes or the Whimsy Design Teams, I am going to take a couple of days to regather my focus and try to regain my MOJO....

Before I take a couple of days, I wanted to first appologize for not issuing a challenge of my own, as I had promised. My good friend Laura Frederickson is a very talented and popular stamper who has a couple of important obligations and announcements that she needs to focus on. She and I had set aside today to reveal the challenge that we had issued to one another and extend that challenge to include you. We have decided to postpone until next Tuesday.

The card that I do have today was created for last weeks Mojo Monday sketch challenge. The stamp that I used was Shirley's 2 Girls "Break and Mend". If anyone knows the maker of this DP, please let me know. It was a gift and I do not know which manufactuer to give credit to.

Verve Stamps has started their Sneak Peeks for their big stamp release on March 8. Be sure and check out their blog and the Mojo Monday sites (there is a blinkie in my sidebar) so that you don't miss an opportunity to win some great stamp sets. I will be back in a day or two, ready to know your creative socks off. Hugs to everyone.

Rejections sucks! Renenber, just beause you didn't make either team, doesn't mean you are any less talented.

I think most teams are comprised of the same stampers (or at least it seems that way.). A lot of the new companies are SCS former dirty girls and it seems their first choices are fellow members of the dirt pile.

I'll be sure to stop back next week to check out the new challenge! Hugs

Sorry to hear that Justin {Big Hugs}. Take a deep breath, dust yourself off, and keep stamping. You have gained quite the following and are on a Design Team. Your already ahead of most.

I also have to agree with Pat. I've noticed the trend among stamp companies and who their teams are comprised of. Keep submitting and you're time will come.

Not making it on the team is no reflection on your abilities or creativity. There's so much competition out there. Your work is fabulous as are you.
