Happy St. Patrick's Day

I just cruised over to my own blog from my good friend Jen Tapler's Blog where I received a good laugh after reading her husband's response to her St. Patty's Day card. When she showed it to him, he non-enthusiastically stated "That's Nice, When the @#$! have you ever sent someone a St. Patrick's Day card?".............. I totally think that same thought to myself for most of the cards that I create. Gotta love all of these little "occasions" that give us a reason - any reason- to create "A CARD"........ I wonder if she shares every card with him the way that I share EVERY one of my cards with my family???

What do you do with the cards that you create? My husband asked me that very question just yesterday. (he is in the states for a couple of months right now)... My response: "They are sitting in a pile in the desk chair, which is where Emily took them off of the entertainment center to clean." I usually place mine somewhere in the living room after photographing them so that I can admire them... How Embarrassing!!!

This card took me less than an hour to create. To be honest, I was racing the setting sun so that I could get it photographed and posted NOW!!! SCACD has a challenge each week called "Try It Tuesday" on their BLOG and today's challenge was to create a card using all green and one neutral... Burgandy is a neutral right?? I was so happy to finally be able to use the Bo Bunny DP that I purchased last year in Germany. Not so sure that a 3 leaf clover is as "LUCKY" as a 4 leaf clover but it looked odd to me so I eliminated it. I used two different sized EK Success heart punches for my hearts.

If you get a chance, check out the blog of my new DT (for at least a month). I would love it if you participated in the "Try it Tuesday" challenge. Let me know so that I can take a peek at your card..... Thanks for taking the time to visit me today and I hope that you have "The Luck O The Irish"

...........Recipe............
Stampin' Up: Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgandy CS, Ticket corner punch, silver brads
Paper Trey Ink: New Leaf buttons
Bo Bunny: Patterned Paper
Making Memories: Metal letter charms

Love your card. Love the shamrock and button embellishments.

Many of my cards have been sent to the troops. I use many. Some I give away, and the rest just sit there.

My husband is my "creative director". He doesn't hold back on comments, either. I used the kissing technique a long time ago on an image....pleased with the results, I shared my creation with him. His response "You can't send that out, it looks like intestinal parasites"! He hates dark colors, but anything, no matter what, he loves if it's blue. Maybe I'll make a card with blue intestinal parasites.....
