Verve Birdies

Love is in the air all around blog world! I think I sat down over 2 hours ago and whew there is so much Blog Candy up for grabs right now......... Holy Moly that brings me to my super cool news..... I WON ;o)

Remember the Aloha - Surfboard card that I created for Island Paperie Challenge #1? Yours truly was announced the WINNER and you can see my card over at Paper Craft Planet and scrolling down the page.............

This little card is was created using my new Verve stamps (Black Tie Birdies)...... Pretty straightforward and pretty basic but I love how detailed and swirly they are. I added some fine glitter to the balloon, a little bling to each bird and tied a little bow out of cross stitch thread. White bird and balloon were cut out and mounted on foam squares. The white ink is the new "Fresh Snow" by PaperTrey Ink.

Thanks for stopping by today. I will have another Verve card for tomorrow (hint, I used shrinky dinks on it) and I will also be updating my slide show with photos from our family adventure today................
...............Recipe..............
