Spooky lil Treat Box

This week the ABC Toys & Crafts Design Team theme was " HALLOWEEN "
(there is a blinkie on my side bar titled ABC Design Blog where you can see what everyone else designed)

Is that "TREAT BOX" to die for or WHAT.... WANT TO MAKE ONE?? WANT A FREE TEMPLATE?? Visit Georgia MacDonald to grab yours (be sure and tell her I said THANK YOU because I've now made several)

I'm all about VERSATILITY when it comes to my stamp sets and I want to get as much bang for my buck as I possibly can. I chose to get inky with the "EEK A MONSTER" Stamp set from My Cute Stamps. Take a look at how I could dress that one eyed monster and
BOOM......... It's a Birthday Card for a GIRL

Here is a close up of the same monster dressed in blue / green...... See how easily he transforms into a BOY?? or better yet, UNISEX..........
CHALLENGES I USED:
Little Red Wagon: Stars
Sew Many Challenges: Embossing (I used heat embossing for the monsters and sentiment)
Paper Sundaes: Min of 3 embellishments (ribbons, eye, button, chipboard star, handmade rosette)
Pals Paper Arts: Halloween
Totally Gorjuss: Flowers (I created my own Rosette out of paper)
Our Creative Corner: Fun with Folds (I used a fold technique for the Rosette but there was lots of folding done to create my treat box as well)

STAY TUNED to my blog where I will show you how this same monster TRANSFORMS into a GET WELL MONSTER!!!!
There is still PLENTY of TIME to think about what you will create for Halloween this year
HOWEVER
TIME is RUNNING OUT

Adorable, Justine! You always do such a great job on gift sets.
Yes, I'm still here... Western Maryland is beautiful but the pollen drove me crazy and my sinuses are giving me a fit... Hard to create with a banger headache and holding a kleenex up to my nose.
Hope all is well; have a great weekend. Thanks so much for your lovely comments!

OMG! For someone who was WHINING about not having any Halloween products, you certainly mastered this challenge!! LOL The treat container is awesome, and the way you transformed those little monsters into Halloween creeps is perfection - utter perfection!! Great job, ghoul! LOL

Cute project - love the bright Halloween colors and embellishments.

Thanks for the lovely compliment you left on my blog yesterday. Please do feel free to share the link to the challenge listing that I do. I try to update daily but don't quite always make that goal. Some days are just busier than others.

Also, I wanted to share the link for the vintage fruit label. It's from Night Owl Vintage http://olga-borzoi.blogspot.com/2010/04/cute-vintage-fruit-labels.html. She has some awesome vintage images there, but unfortunately she's not adding any more. Apparently she had some nasty spammers and decided to call it quits.

Have a great weekend!

Hugs,
Linda

I already have this template thanks to Georgia, but I had to tell you how much I love your little box. Your card, however, really ROCKS! Love it!

Do they have Halloween in abroad? If not, then why would you ever leave the US? Halloween is too much fun to miss. Now you can give such cute things;D
