No Copics, No Ribbon-Simple Elegance

This week the ABC Toys & Craft's Design Team will be featuring
" CRAFTY SECRETS "

Julie has so generously offered the above 15% Discount Code to be used towards any "Crafty Secrets" purchase. Hurry the code expires Saturday, May 22....................

My project features the classy "Chandelier Fun" stamp set and it wasn't until I was posting here, that I had not used Copic Markers or even Ribbon (GASP!) I felt so rebellious and liberated by breaking away from what has become the "norm". I heat embossed the Chandelier and raised it up with foam squares. I used the new Martha Stewart "Bird on the Wire" border punch paired with a scrolled, embossed border punch across the mid section of the card. Take a peek at the inside of my card:
I was so tickled with myself at how well my birds look "HANGIN' OUT" on the chandelier!! All I did was snip & glue from a scrap that was headed towards the garbage.

CHALLENGES I USED:
Pile It On: Photo Inspiration (just look at that chandelier & the black butterflies on the walls, I'm not a butterfly person, so I opted for black birds)
Cute Card Thursday: Someone Special
Your Next Stamp: Cut it out & Pop It Up (chandelier is popped up)

Here are some of the products I used from ABC Toys & Crafts:

HUGZ,
Justine (CARDiology)
...........Supplies I used...........
Stamps: Crafty Secrets (Chandelier Fun)
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Stampin Up (basic black), Paper Trey Ink (white)
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey (June Bug)
Tools: Martha Stewart (birds on the wire, ), Spellbinders (Nestabilities Labels One ), Stampin Up (heat gun)
Misc: Stampin Up (black embossing powder)

What a pretty card! But seriously, what is the craze w/ chandeliers???? I wouldn't know what to do w/ a chandelier!!!

And as for the no ribbon or Copics, perhaps that could be your challenge for that lovely plane ride coming up! LOL! ;)
