Twisted Thursday
#22
Yep it's that time of the week again, so let's get "Twisted"! I hope you will join me for a fun sketch challenge. This week's "Twist" is to PUNCH IT. Ordinarily, I use all sorts of punches, however, the mere mention of a punch brought to mind one that I wasn't aware I had added to my ever growing collection. Last time I worked with that little metal hardware, I sat and cut all around my sentiment trying to make it fit behind the frame w/out showing, only to discover AFTERWARDS, that I owned the coordinating punch. So sad for me.

I combined stamp sets today. The swirly vine is from "A Note of Thanks" (sg 213)
which I stamped 4 times around the base of my card and once more on the white cs inside the metal frame. I stamped the main image from "Mother Knows Best" (sg 68) 4 seperate times. First onto white CS, then onto 3 seperate pieces of Designer Paper. I colored the white and then added all of my little cut out pieces and layered them onto my main image. If you look closely you can see that the bottom of the shirt is curved slightly and only the bottom edges are adhered, leaving the middle 3 dimensional. The sentiment (The fun has just begun!!!) is also from "Mother Knows Best" The teal swirl and the striped papers are sold in a package from Shirley's 2 Girls (Soar sp 17).

Are you up for the "Twisted Thursday" challenge?
