Happy July 1st

How about a little CHRISTMAS in JULY??

Myself and the other Ladies with Attitude have been working behind the scenes to bring you a little "Holiday Spirit". Not only will this week's TWISTED THURSDAY have a Christmas/Winter theme but one lucky participant will be receiving a BIG PRIZE PACKAGE from Shirley's 2 Girls

I hope that everyone had the opportunity to check out the fantastic stamp sale that was going on over at ABC Toys & Crafts. Although the stamps may not be on sale right now, the MARTHA STEWART PUNCHES are 15% OFF....... I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace edge punch on the red cardstock. (This Doily Lace punch was what introduced me to ABC because it has become such a hard punch to find. When you do find it, the price has been doubled. This was NOT the case at ABC). I just looked and ABC has 36 of these punches in stock at $13.59. Notice the new Nestabilities?? Those are now being carried at ABC along with Copics and so much more is on the way!!!!

To put myself in the holiday spirit, I decided to start a little early and play around with one of my new Crafty Secret stamp sets (Vintage Christmas). Is that Santa not wonderful? What an easy stamp to create with, I suppose we could call him a Stamp-n-Go image. Although I love to color, it was so nice to actually start and finish a card in less than 30 minutes. The sketch is from Our Creative Corner.
The second card uses a sentiment from the same stamp set. The flourished "S" is separate from the rest of the sentiment, making it very easy to use in a variety of ways. I used the small pine cone image to stamp along the scalloped edge. That wraps it up for me. I hope you will check back tomorrow for the Twisted Thursday sketch challenge.

...............Supplies I used.................
Stamps: Crafty Secrets (Vintage Christmas)
Paper: Stampin' Up! (naturals, very vanilla, real red, close to cocoa, chocolate chip & both the red & green DPs)
Ink: Tim Holtz (tea dye distressing ink), Momento (tuxedo black), Stampin' Up! (riding hood red, real red, close to cocoa, versa mark, always artichoke)
Tools: Spellbinders (Nestabilities Labels 4), Stampin' Up! (scallop border punch), Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch,
Misc: Paper Trey Ink (buttons), K&Co. (Ribbons)

I just bought my first MS border punches the other day (wish I knew about this sale) :-(. Anyway, your cards are beautiful. They've inspired me to use my new punches. I have to start thinking Christmas, too, before I head back to Croatia in a few weeks. It'll save me a lot of money if I can leave them here for my MIL to mail later :-)
