Card for a Cause

This card was created to be sent out to my good friend Jen Tapler. She is celebrating her Blogoversary and has more than$250 in Blog Candy. Her father is in the late stages of Alzheimer's and she is asking all of us to create and mail cards out to her. She will be using these cards to create boxed gift sets that she will then sell or host an auction. The proceeds will then be sent to the Alzheimer's Association. How can you not want to participate in this wonderful event? Click HERE to view complete details.

I had to remember to not go super craz with embellishments so that the recipient would actually be willing to use the card. I had so many scraps scattered all around my craft table so I just started playing around and this is what I came up with. Aren't these little butterflies so dainty and cute?

I will be back in a few short hours with the "Twisted Thursday" Sketch Challenge....
