Quick Masculine Thank You

I am still working on my holiday Thank You cards but everytime I go up to my craft room (aka The Closet), I get side tracked.....

Apparently the color chocolate paired with most anything is just so darn yummy. Aren't these colors fantastic together. I will have you to notice that there is NO ribbon, therefore, it qualifies for Masculine, Right? And yes the stamped background is "my version" of NO Polka Dots!!

Let's just get down to the nitty gritty. Using Dark Chocolate ink, I stamped the background with Background Basics stars (PTI) and inked the edges. I created the tag by using the PTI Recipe Lapel and cutting it out. However, the sentiment was by Stampin Up so I had to stamp it first and then center the label over the sentiment to ensure that the sentiment was centered. The tag is mounted on foam squares. If you look closely you will see that I added score lines from the inside of the card. I love how elegant those simple little lines can be. They just seem to give a plain card that Martha Stewart feel.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend. I'll be back tomorrow with super cute Valentine Treat for my daughter Emily. Don't worry she doesn't read this..........
