Basically this is the same layout as my Alzheimer's card from yesterday but wait that's not all, the card I plan on uploading tomorrow also uses the same layout =o) Don't think I am being lazy, I just really like something about this. Maybe it is the ribbon. Isn't ribbon the most yummy thing ever? It is so creamy and just makes everything better.
I literally have nothing to talk about besides cards!!! So here goes.. This was one of the ones that got me irritated when David made the comment about spending ALL day on 4 cards. I had to point out that I actually painted those little cream colored dots around the scalloped circle. Not like I can just run out to WalMart and pick up a white sharpie!! The little bird stick is double mounted so that little fibers and hairs wouldn't stick to his adhesive when I raised him with foam tape, then I had to outline him to camoflauge that I had doctored him. My photo corner embellishment is done all ghetto style (no insult to my homies that be stayin in da ghetto). What I mean is that I don't have the punch that creates them and I don't have any laying around in a stash. So I punched a scalloped square, actually two, one was aqua mist and the other chocolate. Next I cut them in 1/2, adhered them together, then placed the corner from something else on top as a template and cut out the triangle with my craft knife. I'm thinking I should break down and get a photo corner punch, what do you think?????
Check out the little rhinestone gems. Those are a bit small but they are actually nail art rhinestones. I found them at the market last week and paid 2 euro - that is $2.93... Probably what you might pay stateside but I was thrilled to find them. They actually came in a little round container with a large assortment of colors and shapes. Wooo Hooo. So there ya have cardmaking in the hood..................
